UTICA, NY - The Christmas Holiday Season is a joyous time of year. We celebrate with our families and friends sharing our love, giving gifts, singing songs, telling Christmas stories, and providing hope. The Holidays means food, feasts and delicious desserts. The Holidays are also full of stress and worry when we are not able to afford to buy food for Christmas dinner and presents for our children and others who are very special to us.

Christmas 2015, JPC assisted low-income families with food and extra presents for their children – the first time that JPC has hosted an event such as this during the holiday season. Hundreds of people gathered in the rain and cold to receive fresh produce, stuffing, turkey kits, assorted meats, and other items to supplement their holiday meals. Parents and children were also able to choose from assorted presents to supplement holiday gifts. It was a wonderful and special event that reached many individuals and families during these stressful times.
