On January 6, 2020, JPC had the privilege to greet, meet, see and receive donations through its partnership with the Rob Esche "Save of the Day" Foundation, Inc. – joined forces with volunteers from the Cree. Inc. (Nasdaq: CREE)  a North Carolina company known for its LED lighting products, and plans to build a $1 billion factory near Utica that it said will be the world's largest silicon carbide fabrication facility;the Utica Comets are a professional ice hockey team based in Utica, New York. They are members of the North Division, of the Eastern Conference of the American Hockey League (AHL); the Utica City FC is a professional indoor soccer team based in Utica, New York that plays in the Eastern Conference of the Major Arena Soccer League. They purchased and delivered home goods items that included - bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and other home goods items to our program participants residing in the JPA supportive housing program and the Emergency Family Shelter.
