Volunteer
Mentor a child, ex-offender, or single mother, teach a class at our Youth Center, put your handyman or woman skills to work on maintenance jobs, work in the Food Pantry, help maintain our computers, assist with public relations – the options are only limited by your imagination!
We can work around your schedule! If you are committed, we can use you for 2 hours or 2 months!

Operations
Maintenance
We’re looking for men/women willing to come in on a regular basis to maintain JPC properties or a “handy man” who could come in occasionally to do some projects.
- Carpentry (make shelves, minor repairs, etc.)
- Electrical work
- Gardening
- Renovation (painting, sheetrock, etc.)
- “Handy Man” (fix what needs fixing…)
Cleaning
With all of our programs and people coming in and out, things get dirty! Would you be willing to come in once a week and clean for two hours, or could you organize a group for a clean up party at JPC? We will have the food ready for the clean-up party to eat.
Administrative Work
Filing, office help, writing/proofreading…you name it, we need it!
Other Jobs
Food Pantry
(Mon – Wed) We need good workers at the Food Pantry so that hungry people can efficiently be served.
Job Coach/Mentors
Assist and support adults in preparing, finding and maintaining a job, including help with wake up calls, assistance in resume writing, interview rehearsal, etc.
Transport
Drive individuals or a small group to meetings, appointments or grocery shopping.
